An exhibition exploring the line between fine art, craft and design and using 'the shirt' as a focus. The inspiration for my piece came from the ancient painting titled 'Angel from a Sacred Conversazione' by Macro Palmezzano. It concentrated particularly on the creases and folds of fabric. The final images intertwined with the installation narrate the design process from beginning to end from fresh to soiled. Plastic tagging was used as a unconventional ornament for the shirts. The monochromatic effect and significance of shadow and light are crucial factors. Sharp cuts, crisp angles and reinforced cotton all compliment each other in opposing aesthetics.
