Vibrant Grey
Brutalism has always been negatively associated with communism and also with low classes. Dark, ugly or cold are adjectives extensively used for it.
Vibrant Grey is a project that comes to light as a personal response against the strong criticism around the Brutalist architecture.
Focused on the exciting Barbican Estate in London – as a brilliant example of the architectural style – Vibrant Grey does not bring words to argue with those opposite ideas, it rather shows, through illustrations, another face of the architectural style. It brings a new face of Brutalism not frequently seen.
This is the first step of the project. The second and final stage is the creation of an animated film.
