The society is also known as M2(square) and the two logos created trying to play with typography.
On the first one it the letter "M" is made up of a graph and the background is checked lines which show the "marketplace". While the second logo is more of a simple typo play.

The two logos trying to portray the Police Officers' Mess in a different way. The first one is a typo play on the letter "O" which has a roof on top of it to show the mess. While the second logo use the simplification of the mess building itself.

The logo is created using a typography approach to keep it modern and elegant. The use of serif font is to emphasize the elegance more. Blue and dark grey are applied to convey a modern and sophisticated feel and the letters on the word "Reflections" are in different tone of blue to symbolise the lapping waves of the sea.
