Tockwith Plane Memorial
I designed a memorial to mark the 70th anniversary of a Stirling Bomber crash that devastated Tockwith village in 1945. The design consists of a mesh framework to portray the inner workings of these fantastic planes that were flown from the nearby airfield.
The galvanized steel framework sits atop a plinth of brickwork with a plaque engraved with those who lost their lives.
