Ergo - If Only Design
The groups task was to design a innovative product that would help people who suffer from cognitive and functional disabilities. Where current products have not been designed with this in mind. We came up with the idea of ergo that helps children from the age of 4-8 with hemiplegic cerebral palsy and other muscular conditions. The chair gives them more muscular support in their trunk, improving their posture and independence at the same time. After use the chair can be easily packed away by attaching to the backpack that can be taken with them anywhere.
