In Design Thinking we were to design a piece of armor, jewelry, or the like that embodies one of our strengths or weaknesses. I first employed a focus tool to make a visualization of what I consider my strengths and weaknesses with words. I translated those words into loose sketches. I considered determination to be one of my strengths and when I drew sketches I isolated the idea of determination and took it to mean drive. Drive is very literally about knowing when to stop, go, and use caution, all of which are very necessary elements not only in governing traffic but also when returned to the context of my personality. Drive is closely associated with cars and pursuit, and I thought that a good way to render that would be through a stoplight, or the essence of a stoplight. Furthermore, I wanted the stoplight to be on my head, as to say that there is a drive in my mind.
