The Facebook relationship status has become an important stage of a modern relationship, the online urban dictionary describes being facebook official as: “The ultimate definition of a college relationship - when on one’s Facebook profile it says ‘In a Relationship’ and your significant other’s name.”
Status is an interactive gateway that disconnects users from Bournemouth and the outside world; presenting the Beach as a place of romance by creating a structure that allows users to update their Facebook relationship status to show the world and everyone around them that they are in a relationship. The design has been heavily focused on the user experience and journey through the gateway.
