Thoughts on Typography - This booklet was created in conjunction with “2009: A Year of Typography†lecture series. It’s an extraordinary collection from today’s leaders in writing, criticism, and design. This piece challenged me to create a multi-page document that uses a unique underlying grid. The result is a fun and colorful book that uses the square in a new way.

Band Poster - Girl Talk - In this class, using type in expressive ways is explored. As a result, I created a poster for a band/artist of my choosing, here Girl Talk, a DJ who mixes pop songs together. The poster is created from a night photograph I shot and exploration with type. The feeling created is a bit club-like, using bright colors on black.
