Hillel Foundation at the University of Illinois (2) - This was an illustrated ad I did for the Hillel Foundation at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).
They wanted an illustration of the new building with a hip/funky but somewhat simple aesthetic to appeal to the students. I took my inspiration from the show, Mission Hill.

Te Shurt - A size variation
I illustrated this ad for Te Shurt, an Illini gear shop that offers screen printing services. I tried to utilize a style different than what I most often drew (ie for Lincolnland Express) that was both whimsical but appealing to the playful college crowd.

Character design and illustrations were done by me while concept/theme were often in collaboration with the client and ad rep.
These comic style "Li'l Linc'n ads" ran weekly for over a year.

LEX: Dirty Laundry - This was the second ad in a massive campaign for the shuttle bus company, Lincolnland Express, that introduced a "mascot" named, Li'l Linc'n. Character design and illustrations were done by me while concept/theme were often in collaboration with the client and ad rep.
Coloring style was changed to flat colors in order to reference old comics and to accommodate the client's decision to run original, illustrated ads every week indefinitely.

This ad officially launched a new "Li'l Linc'n" campaign meant to show support for the various Fighting Illini sports teams.
