Floating Table
I wanted to create an illusion of a floating table top -- inspired by tensegrity structures and Scandinavian furniture designs. The table was made of stainless steel and glass, a fusion of two widely used materials, but by incorporating design values such as material honesty and simplicity. The result was a functional yet aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture. The feedback from my mentors on this project has greatly enriched learning experience.
