Lift Mechanism for an Exceptionally Large TV
A lift mechanism designed to accommodate a 150-inch 800 pound plasma television. A hydraulic forklift mast was re-purposed to raise the television and its support enclosure from a subsurface concrete vault. The tubular steel television mounting frame is capped with stone pavers that make the lift mechanism disappear into the surrounding paving pattern next to an exterior swimming pool. The TV and lift controller are integrated into the central home AV control system.
