I created 105 layers that would read horizontally, vertically and 3 dimensionally, creating a space that would fill in an empty void on a site. This Installation was meant to be placed in various voids located on the site map, telling a story of that particular area were the installation would be placed. The most important layer was the fourth layer, which has pictures of the site and elements that people in the neighborhood can personally relate to but also things other people could relate to as well. The installation was meant for people to walk through and explore underneath the surface of each layer finding information that is not always present on the surface, "scratching underneath the surface".

This exhibition was based on a series of developments within my Senior Thesis Project. The basis of the exhibition was that people are related to spaces based on connections, events, memories, colors, images, stories, scents, sounds. Using this information creating a series of interconnecting postcard sized objects, that were strung together randomly within a space. The cards were hung so that one can pull on the card and read the information. If there are several people who are pulling on the cards, they may find that they are connected to someone else. (Imageine several cards hung and some are floating while others are ascending and decending as people interact with the exhibition) This exhibition creates a relational experience between a person-to-space, a person-to-object, and a person-to-person.
