These are my sample images of promotional jewelry photography for a high end jeweler. I find the setting of the photograph, whether that be somewhere in nature, on a beautiful gemstone, etc, then I photograph the jewelry keeping in mind composition, colors, texture, and depth of field. Sometimes I use photo stacking to avoid the slim depth of field, but I find that the slim depth of field creates more interest in the photograph. I then use photoshop to edit any imperfections or enhance certain parts of the photograph.
