David Michael Miller Associates - Lone Mountain Hillside
Set into a mountain slope in the sonoran desert, this house project was designed as a contemporary retreat, adjacent to world class golf venues and with views of surrounding desert mountain terrain. The house design, at its conception, was intended to be one of cohesive interaction between architecture and interiors. Finishes such as floors and wall finishes flowed from the interiors to the exteriors to blur the line between conditioned interior space and exterior living space. Exotic wood veneers, metalwork and sophisticated millwork designs all conspire to make this residence truly spectacular.
