Compressed charcoal illustration on salvaged metal/installation for Reading the Rails (an art show portraying railroad culture in America). I knew I wanted to do a piece with materials found along the railroad tracks. I discovered this piece of "farm fresh" rusted roofing tin and decided to do an illustration of a hobo banjo player on it, cutting out most of the silhouette.
