Final project for my Packaging and Display class at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. For the assignment I chose the HBO show Game of Thrones as the theme. With several characters and houses, it allowed me to expand the original product into four "flavors", and then the extensive addition of the face card illustrations. The four flavors are House Stark (Face cards: Ned Stark, Cat Stark, and Robb Stark), House Lannister (Face cards: Tywin Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister), House Baratheon (Face cards: Robert Baratheon, Melisandre or the Red Woman, Stannis Baratheon), and House Targaryen (Viserys Targaryen, Daenarys Targaryen, and Sir Jorah Mormont). The third feature of the project is the point of purchase display. I chose the iconic throne, featured in the show, as the unifying element to hold all of the products together. I constructed this and the box packaging using plotted prints, cardboard, bristol board, x-acto knife cutting, and some help from a laser cutter.
