I created a series of postage stamps featuring classic Disney characters to show and emphasize the timelessness and iconic images that these characters have created over time. This project was done for Arts 245 (Graphic Design I).

For this project, we were to pick a social problem present in today's society and design a tabloid sized poster to spread awareness about said problem. I chose to do a poster on drinking and driving. My target audience was students and residents of the area around the University of South Carolina. This poster would have been presented and hung around campus and in the downtown and bar areas. This project was done for Arts 245 (Graphic Design I).

The objective of this project was to create a brand/company and business plan, and create a relevant set of color and black and white logos for that company. I chose to do a fine wine and dessert bar, cleverly named "Candy Bar." I went with an elegant, simple, and relevant theme for the logo, and kept the dependency on text to a minimum, as the logo can work with or without the text, and can work in both color or black and white. This project was done for Arts 245 (Graphic Design I).
This was a project I did for class where we had to rebrand and design a type logo for a company of our choice, using two, and only two letters to represent the company. As you can see, I did a color version, black version, and white version to show the mark's versatility. I chose to do Starbucks, because they are heavily based on their mermaid circular logo, and in my design, you can see where I incorporated the circular design, but in a more modern and simplified aspect. This project was done for Arts 246 (Graphic Design II).

This is a logo I created to the specification of a small Amazon.com based company that sells new sunglasses and watches at a lower than retail price, called Shades and Watches. This design was heavily based off of what the client wanted, and reflects the company's assets.

This is a cover letter template/letterhead I designed for a friend of mine for his Visual Comminications/Journalism portfolio proposal letter. I based the colors and design off of his laid back, calm personality and added a stylistic twist to it with the partial cut off of the text to give it a little bit more visual playfulness, while remaining professional.

This project was for Arts 246 (Graphic Design II) and the assignment was to pick a renown super hero, I chose Superman, and create a stationary set for that superhero, including a logo, business card, mailing envelope, and letterhead. This project was very detailed, consistency oriented, and research involved. I went with a more corporate, clean and simple style to portray Superman. I played of off his "Clark Kent" persona, emphasizing the "average, everyday business man" disguise and bringing that prominently into the overall design aspects of the stationary set. Man of Steel Incorporated was obviously influenced by Superman's nickname "Man of Steel," which also brings in a more modern, up to date aspect to the design.
