Harvard Wyss Institute/Root Robotics
Working with the Wyss Institute at Harvard, I helped design and refine Root, a magnetic robot that teaches kids coding processes at three different levels.
Root can be programmed to draw or erase on a whiteboard, follow drawn paths, or dance any dance kids come up with. Root won four awards at CES 2018: Tech Radar Best Toy, Tom's Guide Best Kids Technology, Gotta Be Mobile Hottest Tech, and TWICE Best of CES, in addition to a Kids @ Play KAPi innovation award in 2017.
Along with the industrial design, I worked with them to refine the UX (Square app), and develop the branding for the spinoff company..
