This portfolio covers collaborations that I engineered with various design firms while working with OXO. Most of the products are designed by Smart Design, while others were designed by IDEO, Continuum, P9, Mark Naden, TODA, Ion, and Tim Kennedy.
My contributions at OXO were to work between the design firm doing the creative work, and the factory doing the fabrication. I first started on the Strategic team, expanding the brand into new markets such as trash, lighting and kids products. Then I moved to the Cleaning and Organizational team. And finally I became Team Lead and Senior Engineer on the Food Storage team, responsible for managing a portfolio of products worth roughly 40 million annually.
I was also responsible for spearheading the search and interviewing to find the talent to create the, first ever, internal OXO design team.
Assisting on the engineering of the flagship highchair for the new OXO tot line was a personal highlight for me.
