The brief for this project was to work in a group to design a school storage unit for Welsh table and chairs company Hille. As a group we designed the Athenaeum which is a storage unit that can be easily and securely attached to tables using a cantilever. The concept has three boxes which can detach by simply sliding them apart. The idea of the Athenaeum is that it can be used in multiple ways and places as it is important for school furniture to not be fixed. Also we designed it so that both teachers and pupils can use it.
