Annex Press Poster
The Annex Press Poster - In 2005, I spent the majority of my summer working as an intern in New England. The Annex Press is a letter press shop in West Windsor, VT.
My training while at the Annex was mainly typographic. The final phase of the internship was a commissioned poster printed on a Vander-cook Press. The poster was an exercise in over- printing. The first of two layers was set with broken wood type). The second layer was set in a combination of both wood and metal types.
