This is how planet rotation works as Adobe flash does not official support 3D modelling. Instead I have used motion-tweening. Note: there is a red ring to circle the position of play header.
The play header animates its movieclip action until it reaches at frame 100 and then repeat the same process again and again.

Brief description:
I have purposely created this sample Flash portfolio. Originally it was meant to be part of my undergraduate portfolio and I was assigned to build interactive encyclopaedia about planets but I decided to do different topics as I wanted to stand out more.
I could have used Flash CS6 which allows me to import Flare 3D (Flash plugin) into this work. I gave up using CS6 as it does not run smoothly on my system.
