I was the Entertainment Section Designer for one semester at the Orion, CSU, Chico's award-winning, advertising supported paper. I was responsible for establishing hierarchy in each spread so that the reader's eye could navigate each page with ease. More so, the majority of my time was spent creating a lead art for the cover story each week. This envolved extensive use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to manipulate photos as to make a statement and catch the reader's attention.
