Designed while at Ergonomidesign for Phorm//
Phorm is a German bike component manufacturer with one goal, to make cycling even more joyful. In 2009 Ergonomidesign was contacted by them to help developing their first range of bike grips. With enthusiast cyclist and touring riders in mind we had to come up with a design that was both comfortable and appealing for these users. Inspired by the many hand held tools and instruments designed by Ergonomidesign during the years, we managed to find the right shapes, proportions,
textures and materials to make a bike grip that is not only simple in its manufacturing but also light in the pocket and easy on the eyes. It ended up so comfortable that that one actually forgets to be holding it.
