MIT Rocket Team payload avionics.

I was hired by the MIT rocketry team to design, build and ship them an avionics board that would handle all aspects of the Roll control system they were working on for a rocketry competition. From design to bring up and shipping the whole process took 2 weeks arriving just in time for them to use it at the competition and win first place.

The board had an on board IMU and GPS for navigation as well as sending telemetry data back to the ground. The board was also capable of preforming self tests to make sure the hot wire cutter and pyro igniters were all still connected during flight as well to confirm that each one deployed correctly when initiated.
