Capture/ The Iran Hostage Crisis Article - This is pages 1-2 of an 8 page editorial spread I did. I wanted to make the letter "C" look as if it was capturing the rest of the word. All the text surrounds the picture the same way the two men are holding the man in the middle hostage. I also made sure the letter "e" from the word capture looked as if it was about to grab a hold of the hostage as well.
This is pages 2-3 of the 8 page editorial spread. I used 4 capital letter "T's" to trap the hostages in the picture. The reason why I chose the letter "T" is because this crisis took place in Teheran and that's where they were taken hostage and were trapped.
