Corbis Advertisement // D&AD - A campaign to promote the services offered by Corbis. The concept is the use of a set of shapes to distinguish the identities of the services, and the use of cutout shapes to mirror how a designer will take away from the image whatever they require, depending on what service and rights they have chosen.
Three Cubed // ISTD - Using a single sheet of A1 paper, the brief for this project was to typographically interpret a space three metres cubed. The solution is a map which plots movement and interaction with objects in my bedroom, and interlaces this with an inventory of all the objects in my room on the reverse. Underpinning this design was the concept of mapping my bedroom as a creative space and to acknowledge that as a designer I interact most with creative tools and reference materials/inspirations.

Forty Four Designers - A book which was designed to accompany the final exhibition of the graphic design graduates from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth 2007. This book required a design and layout that not only placed focus upon the photographs of each individuals work and details, but that created a set of customisable templates that brought this collection of work together. // The identity of this design supports our graduate website http://www.fortyfourdesigners.com
Ninety Minutes - An A1 poster that documents the number of heartbeats I had during the ninety minute period of a football match on the 11th october 2006, at six 'o' clock. Each heart represents a single heartbeat and the grid displays 6072 heartbeats in total. Asleep on a train during this time, the uniformity of the grid represents the heart at rest rate, while sensitive use of typography at the base grounds the visual information to the time/date it was recorded.
