Growing up amongst an ever changing skyline in London greatly affected my overall perception and understanding of buildings and architecture as a Principle of Design. I have used the worlds greenest office building "The Boston Bullitt Centre" as a source of inspiration due to its technical use of environmental saving engineering systems and infrastructure.
This creates a world for designers where creativity and ingenuity un-spirals from the frames of set standards and allows young inspiring hopefuls like myself to think ever-freely without being hindered.
Using conceptual models for Offices researched from online sources my initial sketches and aesthetic values were formed. Although I had to compromise between unimaginable skyscrapers and modern conceptual “Glass” thinking, I toned down my Concepts to bear in mind the reusability of the building in addition to the UIG’s choice of Flexibility for the buildings occupancy usage.
