A Pair of Eyes

Not many people would take care of their eyes as most people would focus on skin, hair or muscles. The eyes are important because they give a person sight and the ability to express emotions. The eyes enable us to enjoy the view and get to see different things in life however a person who is blind wont be able to enjoy these benefits. In this piece I wanted to look at a blind person's eyes and I decided to look at one of my friend who went blind at the age of 8. I tried to use her eyes to show how important our eyes are, to show the beauty that lies in the eyes. This photograph is in black and white because I want the viewer to focus on the eyes and not be distracted by the colors that surround it.
