Salsa Fuego
This product design was created solely based on the product name 'Salsa Fuego'. I began with brainstorming ideas of descriptive words for a spicy salsa. Most adjective that came up were typical or boring and I wanted to go for the extremes, but had trouble coming up with something that hasn't been overdone many times before. So I decided to switch gears and figure out the type of container I would use and see if that helped.
When I came upon an interesting looking parmesan cheese bottle, a friend told me it sort of looked like an old grenade; so I went with it. I spray painted each bottle, hand etched the logo, and created the pull-pins out of jewelry wire.
