Oyogu

The Prosthetic that grows with you

The key to swimming is balance. Currently amputee users learn to adapt and favour certain sides of their body to find their preferred technique. This takes time and for some proves very difficult. But a prosthetic allows for ease of initial learning while also allowing the user to reach their full potential.
The Oyogu is designed for below the elbow amputee swimmers so they do not have to learn to adapt. The user can adjust the level of drag and power to their level ensuring there is equal balance between both arms, customised just for them. The ability to adjust also allows the prosthetic to adapt as the user increases their skill level.
It consists of several modular parts, which can be swapped out as the user grows or as parts wear out. This drives down the cost of it over time compared with other prosthetics, which must be replaced entirely as sizes change.
