TB4 Armrests
A vital component of the power chair is the armrest. Together, the two armrests aid in body positioning, comfort, and holding accessories. The existing TB3 armrests were heavy, cumbersome, confusing to adjust, and the components that received the most complaints on Quantum seating units.
This redesign of the armrests aimed to address all of the pain points while allowing for more flexible and intuitive positioning and cleaner integration of wires when accessories are attached. The final design exceeded expectations and came in 20% lighter.
