Rooftops of the Sacred Valley - For this picture I snuck up onto the roof of a building in the valley to capture the setting sun on the North side of one of the mountains.
Road to the Sacred Valley - This picture was taken on the ride from the city of Cuzco to the Sacred Valley in Peru. The landscape was so unique which is why I chose to capture it as we drove through.

Streets of the Sacred Valley - This was a picture taken of one of the main roads in the Valley. The sun was just setting, lighting up the tops of the surrounding mountains right before dusk.
Aguas Caliantes River - A view of the river that flowed through the village of Aguas Caliantes at the bottom of Machu Picchu.
Flowers of Machu Picchu - This image is from an area on top of Machu Picchu in Peru. We spent two days hiking around the site and these were some of the many pictures taken to capture the amazing place.
Steps up Huayna Picchu - An early morning on the journey up Huayna Picchu. The peak of Huayna Picchu is about 1,200 ft higher than Machu Picchu. We hiked to the top of Huayna Picchu to look down over all of Machu Picchu. I chose to give this picture a more mystical feel as the fog and colors of the morning light made the image seem very supernatural.
Amazonian Butterflies - My trip to Peru included a week long stay in two different Amazonian Villages. These butterflies were captured while enjoying the night resting on one of my shoes.
Dreaming Child - I took a series of shots of this little boy after talking with him in spanish about his desires to come with us. Here he gazed over a ledge looking into their flooded village center.
Princess of the Amazon - Since it was wet season, the main way of getting from building to building in the village in the Amazon was these canoes. This little girl was coming to see us and this image was captured in the process.
Amazonian Child - I took this picture of the little boy I made friends with as he sat near this edge looking at me and everything else that was taking place.
Sorrowful Girl - In a local village, I took this image of a girl who no matter what happened, she would never smile. This image portrays the attitude that some of the local tribes have as they live day to day on minimal food and conditions aren't ideal.
River View - This was composed of 5 different pictures put together to form a panoramic. This was a view of the river going in both directions at noon from one of the lodges we stayed in on the Amazon River towards the end of our trip.
