An extensive iteration stage culminated in choosing the best designs and modeling them in SolidWorks. Following approval by the professor, they were printed in ABS plastic and cleaned to a 600 grit finish. Plasticine was used to create one half of a mold, after which it was cast in rubber. Post mold creation, the wax was meticulously cast and finished. Once the waxes were of an acceptable quality, they were sent to be cast in metal. Upon receiving the pieces from the foundry, the next week was spent finishing the products to a meticulous standard.
