Power train Design and Analysis
•Designed a gear reduction unit for material handling conveyor system using AGMA standards. The designed unit was 2 stage worm and helical gear set which is able to achieve gear ratio of 125:1 and transmit 12hp power from an input shaft.
•MATLAB program was used to ensure safety of all the calculation and CAD model of gear set was made using SOLIDWORKS.
