Analysis of conformal dry contact behavior of bearing system in ANSYS APDL 15.0
A Bearing structure comprised of a cylindrical journal and a complete ring–like sleeve. A steady load is applied to the journal and the sleeve is restrained along a set of points on the ring outer surface. Analyzed the dry contact behavior of the bearing system under plane stress conditions.
