Golden Globe
This floor lamp, Golden Globe, is a part of my thesis "Water Hyacinth - The Green Potential."
Water hyacinth is one of the world's worst weeds due to its aggressive intrusion to water sources around the world. However, its stem can be dried, which turned into golden brown color, and used as natural fiber for various application. Hence, the name of the lamp, Golden Globe.
The lamp was created to showcase the possibility of this natural material application in the furniture industry.
