GOF: Golf without the green fees
Outdoor game that employs golfing skills, but on a student budget.
GOF utilizes a single club and a large urethane foam ball. The 'loft' of the ball is obtained by where the club strikes the ball relative to its horizontal center plane, rather than the angle of the club face.
The chosen target can be anything, and it's fair to incorporate obstacles or specific paths to that target. Over a tree branch or through a culvert, the rules are whatever you want them to be.
Play it in your backyard, the park, or on the village green. The shape of the club protects the turf from divots or damage.
Enjoy!
