Desert cooler is generally used in dry areas, to increase the moisture level in the atmosphere by evaporative cooling, thus decrease the atmospheric temperature. The present designs available in market are huge, unidirectional and it stinks. The new design has three compartments which can be rotated to different areas. It uses the capillary rise of water instead of pumping the water. Thus reduces the energy consumption.
