Bhakti Ganva 2019

Last year, Bhakti Ganva completed a social infrastructure building in an agricultural village in northern Bandung named Buntis village.
The building located on a agricultural village of North Bandung. We are proposing a building that looks modern but blends with the surrounding context. The installment of terracotta filigree and terracotta color resemble the color of the roof of the surrounding buildings. We encouraged the sponsorship from private manufacturers to donate their material products to the projects. They were composed in the building as a compound aesthetic of fabricated and local materials. The projects meant to be beneficial for all who were involved.

As a praying space, the sun reaches the indoor cavity via skylight and perforated walls. Woven bamboo is used as the door material and plafond to include the elements of locality to the building. Perforated walls allow cross ventilation and cool the room inside.
