Force Motors - Traveller Facelift
Force Motors in collaboration with Mercedes Benz manufactures the T1 vans in India, which is the predecessor to the present generation Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans. They are branded as Traveller in India.
These Vans where a runaway success since its introduction and they were manufactured unaltered for almost 22 years. Till now there are no competitors for these Vans, mainly because they are monocoque and this involves a heavy investment in manufacturing setup that didn’t favour any other local manufactures in India.
Due to the recent changes in norms for engines, crash-worthiness and pedestrian safety. The front fascia which also included the fenders and the bonnet had to undergo a redesign.
