A public kitchen in a grocery store is utilized to create a functional space where people can cook and socialize, strengthening community bonds.

The space would be entered through the inside of the grocery store, after gathering the ingredients needed for the meal to be cooked. The circular flow through the space begins with paying for ingredients and checking into a station, where you cook, and then eat at the tables before leaving.

A removable cart acts as extra prep area and a means to transport the food to the eating area. A rack which receives used dishes is easily transferred into a dishwasher for easy cleanup.
