Richard Dantes

Project from 2007 when I was part of a group that designed, built, and ran a car for the Earthbound Media Group.

I was responsible for the mechanical design and frame, and drew inspiration from various sources like chaise lounges and motorcycles. The rear suspension was influenced by the Porsche 928, and the spring layout by the Corvette.

The frame itself was aluminum. The bodywork was hemp and a biodegradable epoxy to make it somewhat "earth friendly"
