Trulok Grip Gauge
This tool was developed by our team for building aircraft, and is the first generation of gun style measurement gauges for the aircraft assembly industry. Prior to this tool, depth gauges were unergonomic and cumbersome to use for fuselage measuring, which resulted in the users hands being forced into unnatural positions repetitively for many hours.
This device uses a wireless transmitter to send depth data to a server, which can be viewed by engineers to speed up the manufacturing and quality assurance process. This tool is also built and assembled in the USA.
I acted as the industrial designer, and ergonomics lead.
