I was asked to make the interior design of a kitchen for one family. Kitchen is in a small apartment in downtown Belgrade, Serbia.
When I started the work, tiles were already placed on the floor as well as on the wall, until 155 cm high.
There are 4 different options as when I stared the work, we thought that only the water pipe is fixed, but we can change the position of the oven. Later on it turned out that unfortunately the oven can be placed only next to the living room. In order to try to separate a bit the kitchen from the living space, I put a small shelf next to it that can serve as an extended worktop or to ease to serve food being next to the dining table. As an alternative it is also possible to eat on it, but I find it unnecessary due to the fact that the dining table is very close to the kitchen.
