I went to Startup Weekend uOttawa, and became the designer in the team I joined, working alongside a team of developers and businessmen to create a whole new business in three days. It was an amazing experience, working so hard on one project, with a team so motivated, dedicated, and inspired. I worked right beside a developer, designing backgrounds that would fit the mobile app, and it's incredible to see something I designed become a logo on my mobile screen, and a website so easily accessible to the public. RecruitMe connects job seekers and recruiters on one simple and easy to use application by matching them with the specific skills and requirements needed for every job. We won third place!
