Lahaina Farms Coffee - Coffee packaging for Lahaina Farms, a supermarket in Lahaina, Maui.
Glidden Paint Cans - I wanted to target DIY consumers who paint their homes not just for practical reasons but for artistic ones as well. The concept is 'philosophy', so I included quotes from famous artists to inspire people to paint on a new level. The design is very white and soft, and the label shape represents a thought bubble as well as clouds.

V. Sattui Wine Bottle - The stripes theme came from the wrought iron gates found in the wine cellar of the winery. I was inspired by the artful shapes they created. I saw stripes and embraced them by applying fun colors that reflect the character of the winery. The label is playful but sophisticated and attractive for young wine aficionados.
Danone Zing - This is the packaging for an energy yogurt drink, targeting busy working professionals. The unique shape welcomes a comfortable grip, and the twist top allows one to open and close with one hand.

Elsewares.com - I want the design to emphasize the idea of recycling old things and making them into something new. I have recreated the style of an old 50s paperback novel by using a soft yellowish paper. Since Elsewares.com's target audience is designers between the ages 21-35, I used the overprinting of two colors throughout to suggest an Andy Warhol pop art style. These colors serve to highlight the company's products as well.
Burger Lab Book - My concept is 'read the fine print'. As consumers we purchase things based on what we see through the media; advertisements and commercials. I took that thought and used it as a tool to communicate my voice regarding the scientific study of immitation meat. I used the style of coupons, cheesy ads, star bursts, and slogans then superimposed them with the bold black 'read the fine print' text box to catch the viewer's attention.
Verse Magazine - Poetry is timeless but I wanted it to appeal to a younger audience in order to draw a larger crowd. I focused on making it more hip but kept its beauty and artistic aspect. The type is staggered and more free-flowing to convey the openness of poetry, and the photographs used are abstract and engaging.
Dreams Book - The book is designed to feel as if you're looking into the mind of a sleeping person. The colors are soft and the marginalia, which represents the dreaming mind, contains the type. The bottom portion of the pages includes a dream dictionary that starts from A to Z from the beginning to the end of the book.
Neutraface Typeface Book - 'Cosmopolitan Lifestyle' is the concept of this typeface book. I want to show the character of the typeface and at the same time give an example of how it can be used. The tall, elegant book contains sections on the lifestyles of a typical cosmopolitan, conveying a feel of refinement and sophistication.
Go Fish Game [Farmed Salmon Edition] - The objective is to design a promotional material for a recycled paper company on an environmental issue. My topic of choice was on farmed salmon. I designed a set of cards that contains facts on the dangers of this industry. The type and imagery is bold and gritty, in hopes of creating a strong impact.
