The client participated in the Group Health Seattle To Portland Bicycle Classic in honor of his friend, who is battling colon cancer, and requested the design include his friend’s initials, the blue of the colon cancer ribbon, and purple (an identifying color of the fraternity that the client & his friend share). The client’s timeline allowed for only one concept delivery in a short amount of time, so Redhound had only one shot at this. The solution included embedded a blue “g” comprises a subtle colon cancer ribbon between purple initials, angled at 12 degrees (consistent with contemporary cycling branding).
