This was a three week project based around a previous mechanical engineering project where a retro-fit electric bicycle motor had been designed. The idea behind the the project was to design the outer casing for the motor, the battery case and the control interface - all designed around the existing interior mechanisms. I was inspired by the current trend of leather cycling accessories but due to the need for waterproof products injection moulded plastic was used to create the texture of leather.
