After reaching an unprecedented retail agreement with US Cellular, Samsung approached my team to help them develop a 10’ x 10’ “shop-in-shop” area inside a single store in Madison, WI. If the test proved to be a success then the same “shop-in-shop” would be installed in 57 other locations across the country. The purpose of the space was to give existing Samsung customers the opportunity to interact with the latest and greatest devices and to attract and educate new potential customers on how the product lineup could be integrated into their lives. Keeping those goals in mind, we also had to take into
account ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance, predetermined experiences and devices, and following the “Fixture Type A” design language.
